We’re looking for an energetic, creative person for freelance work. We handle projects for marketing, technical, and online communications for clients in different industries, from restaurants to high-tech. The Freelance Web Designer will work closely with multiple people including heavy interaction with project managers and content creators to help define and evolve ongoing projects. Must be able to design, evaluate and implement visual human interfaces utilizing user-centered design principles.

Requirements

Expert in HTML, CSS, and Javascript, with advanced typographic skills preferred
Define the user interface for new and existing projects.

Developing mockups and HTML/CSS prototypes

Gauging the usability of new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for change

Demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based interfaces

Strong visual design sense

Excellent communication skills

Integrates sites with back-end databases

NOTE: You must be able to develop, test, and deploy for both Mac and Windows platforms
